Ok crew, I’m getting ready for risers but, look at my picture of what is currently installed. Broker told me both engines were replaced at different times, no receipts. Super electrician was stumped about which one was newer. Which way do I go to get them the same? Appears the starboard engine has dry risers? It does run about 5-10 degrees warmer, right about 170 where the port engine runs a touch over 160. Thanks in advance.

I’m getting ready to install a Heater Craft 4 port heat exchanger. I was wondering if anyone has done this and where did you locate the box. I was thinking of 3 places.
1: Under the helm seat which is empty.
    2: Under the port seat.
3: Under the rear seat that is on the bilge cover.

Hi Rick ... all good choices! As the heat exchange unit placement choices in your examples are above the engine, an aux water pump will be required to move the hot water up to the 4-hole unit. There are a few excellent posts on CSR, including one with lots of photos of an install behind the starboard side panel in the under-helm sleeping berth. HeaterCraft is a great company to work with, and good luck with the install!

I’m well under way with the installation. I put it under the helm seat. What are my options for the power and ground connections?

With my cars, I usually connect to the fuse panel.

20211218_160730.jpg 20211218_160735.jpg I connected to power at the breaker panel under the helm. It worked beautifully. To route the wires, I removed the ceiling panel in the aft berth. When I went to reinstall, there is a large gap at the end. It was hanging a little loose when I removed it. I'm thinking of adding a filler. Has anyone encountered this?

I have run wires behind the headliner without removing it by using a fish tape. You may be able to use a filler behind the fabric, if there's enough excess material.

That’s a great idea! I’ll have to check. Thanks
