Our local MM dealer was able to find a source - they're only about .65 a piece. She's waiting to put together an order for more stuff from the distributor - that way eliminating shipping charges. Will advise part number as soon as I get them.

Electric fuel pump does not energize when ignition in set to ON. And the low oil pressure warning does not sound either. Engine will crank but of course it will not start as their is no fuel. Only on the port engine (4.3 merc - EFI throttle body). Reading the manual, I'm suspect it could be the ECM on the engine, but I can't figure out where it is. There are 3 or 4 "blocks" on the top but no idea how to identify . The manual also says there is an in-line fuse but I can't find that either.

One last bit of info, my Garmin resets when cracking that engine...like there is too much voltage being pulled and it is actually powering it off. That is even more strange.

Whenever I've lost power to a chartplotter the culprit was always the battery. Not sure how voltage sensitive the mercruisers are - could that be your issue?

Last season I noticed my swim platform rub rail was loose and had used adhesive to get it back on which worked. I should have also screwed it because it is gone. That being said, I see I can buy U-shaped trim by the foot. Any idea how many feet is needed and how it should be attached? Screws and adhesive?

    Thanks!

Also, has anyone replaced their steering wheel? If so, with what? Just curious.

An LED bulb in an incandescent fixture is not Coast Guard approved. Probably not a big deal from a practical standpoint, but if you're involved in a collision, its one more excuse for the insurance company to deny your claim or worse, for you to be found liable.

The XMD 1 has a CD changer input. If you are willing to give that up, you can wire in a BT dongle in its place. Thats what I did. There's several places on the interwebz where you can find the wiring instructions. Here's one... https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/...les/1431-connecting-ipod-mp3-to-clarion-xmd-1

I had a problem with my starboard 4.3 fuel pump not energizing and it turned out to be a bad connection in the wires that come from the pump. I had to go by feel to find it as it was hanging underneath the motor. All I did was take the connection apart and snapped it back together.

has anyone gotten a HB error code on the cabin panel of their Kohler generator?

also, is it ok to leave the boat connected to shore power all summer long? so the batteries charge , or is it better to connect a simple trickle charger.

Is it ok to run the air conditioner on shore power , all day, while hanging out the marina on weekends?

That looks like one heck of a project = keep us posted with photos as you're going through the install.

On the same note - Sea Ray - what in the world are you thinking installing carpeting in a boat :(

The new cockpit table arrived today I'm using the existing mount/stand. We opted for one that is a bit rectangular in shape with soft sides. Slightly narrower but longer than the original table. Will look great against the new Infinity cockpit floor. IMG_5132.JPG

It takes a lot of guts and patience to do this. I considered it, but then just bit the bullet and had the local SeaRay dealer do it for me. Wasn’t cheap - ~$2400. Worth it in the end as the cabin door has never been easier to operate.

does anyone know how or recall any posts on how to remove the large forward facing port lounge that is connected to the top of the recliner? I found some of the screws above the inside cabinet but am trying to find the other screws

Pictures below of the teak table installed. You can also see the contrast to the Infinity Woven cockpit floor. I used the existing stand (took the bracket off the old plastic round table and screwed it into the new teak table). Note old table and bracket to hold the table in the ER now reside in my garage.
