Congratulations and welcome!
Switches: On the wall by the cabin door is a master switch that controls all the cabin lights. If that is off, all the lights are off. Around the cabin and in the head are other zone switches. So when we are camping, we leave the master switch in the on position and using the other switches as needed to conserve batter power.
Charger/Converter: Battery charger/converter is located behind the port cabinet in the mid cabin space. So you have to pull screws to remove the shelves to remove the plexiglass. Then you can get at the charger. There is a ton of space back there! My charger did not buzz. But it does make some fan noise (perhaps a dirty fan is what you hear?). I did proactively replace mine with a ProMariner Pronautic 1240P, knowing there is a fixed life for these things.
