Here is my 21 SPX with additional SeaDek. I created my own templates for these positions.

That is gorgeous. Exactly what I plan to do on my 19 SPX. Thanks for posting!

When I was looking at the SPX 190 I saw a few with a cockpit table, extended flip up sun pad over the transom walk, as well as a center infill in the bow The infill was a full bow sun pad with no walk through, but possibly a removable. I only saw these options on international models...I managed to find a pic on Sea Ray's global site.

That's interesting Dizzy. I would think some of those options on a US model would have been popular. I would have opted for the table and extended aft sunpad. Thanks for the pic.

I think we need to be looking into whether these items are orderable from Sea Ray...

As you can order a boat with these feature off the global site I would assume so. They are part of the "captain's package" on global.searay.com

Do you have a picture of the table set up? Curious to what size/shape they used. I didn't see it on the global site, just a picture of the table base. BTW, It appears you really did some research/homework before you bought.

Thanks Bridog. My inlaws have a glastron and went to the dealer to check a sweet used one...the wife and kids got into the 190 SPX and it was all over. Did my research then and ordered one.

I did gong a picture of one with the table and transom walk. Let me know if the images doesn't load. The table is round.

Are any of these options available in the u.s market. I really like the bow filler cushion and the sun deck extension pad.

I'm an official SPX "lurker". I bought a used 2008 195 Sport in Jan of 2016 and after one ride my friend wanted a boat, so after a trip to the dealer where I bought my boat, he bought a 2016 19 SPX Select. We're slip neighbors and I probably know more about his boat than he does because I spend time on these forums and I'm just generally obsessed with boats!

I plan to replace my 195 Sport with a new 21 footer at the end of 2017, and the SPX is one I'm certainly considering, along with the Chap H20 and a Cobalt as well.


Fg3 - Great idea on the support for the seat. Might I suggest you make it out of Starboard? Then you'd never have to worry about water, paint, etc. You could even have Boat Outfitters make you a piece. Send them a pattern and they'll cut it perfectly for you.

Well, I was going to take some measurements today and just noticed the two pcs I was going to order are the ONLY sections without dimensions in that PDF file from SeaDek. Figures...

Do you have acces to your boat to make a template? Mine is wrapped for a least 2 more months.

Trust me Jeremy, you don't want me doing a template. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. They do offer a "dry kit" for 5 bucks a piece, so I may order that first to see if it fits. I think it's a pretty quick delivery for those.

From my conversation with them they will send out a kit with all of the pieces cut out of mylar so you can test the fit. They quoted me $20 total for all of the pieces on that template I posted.

It would be super helpful if someone on here who's boat isn't wrapped right now could order that kit and verify the fit. I'd chip in part of the cost as well.

You are correct sir. I ordered the kit today. I can verify most sections except the middle sections of your swim platform. ( I have the OB Version) I can mail you the kit when I'm done if you want to check those. And since Jeremy has the same boat as mine, I'll verify fit for him on the peices he wants. Brian

I have a new SPX 190 arriving in March. A few questions for those who already have theirs.

I was going to get a Rubbermaid for the drivers side rear storage area next to the engine. What are the dimensions or what do you do?

I have the 4.5L 200hp engine. Looking for a good spare prop.

PM sent. Also Looking at pictures of the storage area you were asking about and it looks like SR changed the bottom of that section in 2017, so I'm not sure if it's the same depth now.
