Found this bit of hardware laying on the bilge floor near the batteries. Any idea what it is? Looks to me like some kind of pivot mount but I can't find where it might have come from.

Its a lock pin for a leg either from the bench over batteries or the deck table.

Anyone have a source for the rubber gaskets that go inder out cockpit deck hatches?

Thanks. It turned out to be the upper hinge-pin for one of the electric hatch lift actuators. Your mention of the deck table prompted me to look in the hatch area.

While I'm all picture happy, I thought I'd post up my electronic refit. Replaced the old Ray blackbox VHF with a Garmin 300AIS. Also added a Garmin 7610xsv Plotter/Sonar/MFD and a SteadyCast heading sensor. For the panel I bought a sheet of Oxford Burl from Decorative Plastics, and I couldn't ask for a closer match to the existing panels. The admiral has mad wood-working skills and cut out the panel for me.

I may put some welting around the panel to give it a more finished look. Now i'm looking for a flush iPhone mount to put to the left of the MFD.

So last season in early spring I donated my anchor and chain to Cedar Point Beach . Last weekend I install my new 22lbs. Delta anchor and 50 ft. of 5/16" BBB stainless steel chain.FYI the Delta anchor fit the rollers on the boat perfectly.

Pardon my ignorance...

I have a 99 Sundancer 310. Cannot get channels on cabin TV when attached to the installed Antenna. Purchased a portable "digital HD Antenna" and am able to get 2 channels now! Wooohoo. :-(

Question is this:
Since boat is older I suspect that TV setup is all analog and with analog no longer being broadcast, I need to convert to digital. So what does this mean? Antenna on top of cockpit spoiler? Any other pieces that are part of making TV system work that I need to replace? The TV inside is a little flat screen with DVD built in (is digital capable)!

HELP PLEASE!

My setup:
Cheap-ish 32” LED TV
HDMI adapter for iPhone
HDMI cable to tv from iPhone (phone needs to be plugged in to wall to power up the HDMI adapter.
Bluetooth from phone to boat’s audio system for sound
Stream HD whatever from iPhone to TV. No bills other than cellphone data (i have unlimited data plan)

The short answer is you need a new TV.

Any newer TV will have a digital tuner. You can hook up an external digital tuner between your antenna and your existing TV. However, that original 13" screen will look even smaller once the letter boxing of the new digital channels kicks in.

Your existing antenna will be fine for off-air. Contrary to the marketing sheisters there is really no such thing as a "digital" tv antenna.

Now if you want to bring cable in through the transom connector, you'll need to make sure your TV can tune it OR you'll have to have a cable-tuner/decoder box.

my westerbeke gen. has the overflow for antifreeze, it looks like the pink antifreeze is in there. shouldn't it be green??

welp, I topped it off with green, and it still looks orangeish pinkish so i guess its ok..

From what I understand, you generally don't want to mix the green (standard) with orange (organic). That said, I can't imagine that a small top-off would cause any issues.

last time I went to the boat i cranked up the AC to it's lowest setting. after a few hrs. I had a puddle on the floor in the area of the a/c unit. assuming my drain pan has a clog. any other possible causes??

clog or the pan is rotted out.
Check the shower sump box in middle floor storage by the dinette to see if pump and float switch is working.
Thats where A/C water drains into.
