I have a download that identifies and locates a lot of the various parts; one page deals with locations and measurements of decals and tape. Even though we essentially have the same boat (mine's a '90 270) i dont know if all the decals are in the same place. I downloaded it from the manuals archives on the sea ray web site so you should be able to find something there .

Ok. I just downloaded the 93 290 info from the sea ray site. Unfortunately I have no idea how to attach it here. So its there . Look under parts manuals in the archives, its called 93 290 floor plan. 42 pages. It also includes the dash layout, bilge layout, cabin details, lots of neat stuff

This poor thread doesn't seem to get much activity any more. I've been slowly getting things fixed. My water system is finally up and running. I replaced the galley faucet and made a bamboo insert to fill in the drainage area on the left side of the galley, so I have flat counter space on that side now. The transom shower faucet was busted so I put a decorative pvc trim plate and a brass valve there.

I have a brand new manual pump head and a new holding tank so the head is in good shape.

In the cockpit, the front and rear facing seats have been redone. Still have to have theI backrest and the rear seat done. For carpet, I just bought some smaller area rugs and put one on each engine hatch and one in the passageway. I have new camper canvas but I'm regretting my choice of going under the arch instead of to the arch. Still contemplating a change there.

Still lots to do. The windshield vent needs replaced. My spotlight lights but doesnt rotate. AC doesnt work. There's lots to do in the cabin, I want to have all the upholstery done in the cabin and address headliner stains. One thing I've noticed in the cabin is a lack of outlets. Other than the outlet under the dinette, and the one in the galley, I havent found any. It would be nice to have one in the V berth and also the aft cabin. I'm also thinking of stowing the dinette table and just making a shelf port side in its place. I like having a place to sit there but i dont really need a table often.

Replacing the fridge and updating the swim platform extension are on the list too. Maybe in a season or two I'll be done. In the meantime, it's in the water and floating! I have some performance issues right now but that's detailed in another thread.

One thing I'm happy about, all the lights work. Cabin, head, cockpit , nav, bilge, arch, they all work!

Take this with a grain of salt, but in looking at various prop selection charts lately, I gather there were 3 different gear ratios in the bravo 1, 1.5 being the most common.

I only surmised this while skimming charts, as I said, so I could be mistaken. If you google it, there's some additional info to determine it that I haven't read completely yet

If you can still read the serial # on the drive you should be able to determine the drive ratio with a google search. Our 90' 270 had the 1.5:1.

This thread hasnt seen any action for a long time. I finally got the folding leg hinges for my rear seat/sunpad and put them on. That thing, when open really isnt very big. The corner seat makes removing the floor hatch a pain in the ass. I'm tempted to remove it all and make a cover or lid for the transom cavity. Its not real deep but I could store some pfds and lines in there. It would make the cockpit seem bigger too. Anybody ever do that?

Dave, I've thought about removing the corner seat too. But it's because the rear corner seat back pad basically disintegrated on our boat. It would make getting in from the dock on port side easier.

I'm going to the boat tomorrow, so I'm going to contemplate the corner seat removal while drinking a beer. I'm guessing just a couple screws holding the storage box

Well, a couple friends went with me and one of them gravitated to the corner seat once the anchor was down. So its pretty useful but a folding deck chair or camp chair would still work.

As far as the rear lounge, I thought about a piece of starboard screwed in to replace the bolster. There could be a big piece of starboard hinged to it that would cover the storage. And a pair of paddle latches at the bottom would keep it closed.

There is a business close to me that sells starboard style material and in fact would cut it to my pattern and bevel it. I doubt it would be cheap but I may make a cardboard pattern up and check the cost if I can get some time.

A cheaper option would be a vinyl curtain to snap over the opening
