Nice! My last Sea Ray was red & white......looks really good buffed out and waxed.

Mines only a 250 but this is the closest thread i can find so i hope you dont mind me butting in.
As for the stereo speakers.. Took the legs off the fold away seat, and custom boxes were built with 6x9 speakers visible in front, and 8" subwoofers on the bottom and put in place of the legs. A nice paint job to match, and they look like they were meant to be! possibly the loudest stereo in the marina:smt038 I dont have pics of it atm because i took them out for winter storage.

I do have a pic of the redone interior. All new vinal sides, carpet, and new upholstery. topped off with a mounted flat screen in the bow and full stereo surround

thanks. No professional help hired!

My next step is the dash. My canvas leaks above the windshield and has left stains on the textured dash area under the windshield that wont come out at all. Has anyone ever attempted to redo or paint this area? is there a paint that will stick and most importantly last? any suggestions?

my dash area was all faded and stained light in areas so i used armorall cleaner on it and then used armorall protective wipes on it now its all dark blue again seemed to work good it might take a couple tries and heavy on the wipes maybe a spray would work better. i hadto clean and wipe it like four times now it just shines. mine leaked to around dash like at the windshield wipers and the light post.

these pics are from the sea trial.
and before any clean up. ( notice the wasp nest in the air horns)

The boat looks great - you had a great find. Did you have a survey before purchasing? How many hours on it?

im trying to get dinette turned into a bed but i cant get the post out from the bottom, i managed to get the table off finally, now i have a post that moves up and down about 3 inches but it just wont come out any ideas

Thanks,
And No, i fealt that a survey wasnt needed on this one, I and a friend looked it over really well, it appears that the bilge has never had water laying it long enough to even leave a stain! Bottom of the motor is just as clean as the top. Only thing it needs is a light buff and wax, I own a body shop, so I'm no stranger to a buffer, actually I have buffed on every boat any of my friends have ever bought! So now that I think of it maybe I'll call in some favors! Lol, Nah it will only take a day to get it to my likings, then move on to the next thing!

Its got 703 hours on it, I did compression check, leak down test,
pulled the drive, etc after the initial test drive! All is well, I'll be
moving her to indoor storage for the winter tomorrow, my original plan was to buy a 34-37 Sundancer with gem and ac. Allthough this will give me my lake fix for the summer and then move up from there!

im not sure if its threaded or not looks to me like something broke if its threaded the whole thing spins round nothing to hold it so u cant unthread it. if i can get it out then i can put mount above the floor like whats on the bottom of the table and cut the leg down to size.

It's not threaded. You have another post on this and someone suggusted ice down the tube so you can shrink it and it would spin. If it is already turning you just to lift the table up and yank it out. They also suggested sanding and WD40 when you replace it.

idk its messed up i think im gonna cut it off at the base then put a mount over the hole something is broke or changed by the old owner so u cant take it out.
