Here we go! 1981 SRV remodel! Her new chariot arrived and it's off to the chop shop. Removing the flybridge, removing the Merc I/O's, glassing the transom, lowering the cockpit, adding fish boxes, full Simrad package, outboard bracket in the works, motors ready on the crate... Oh, Man! Can't Wait!

We have an old Christ Craft in our marina that took off the fly bridge.... Painted the hull blue, kept the inboards. Very good looking boat in the end.
Good luck with the project !!

Can’t wait to see finished project.

I'd love to see it! My hull will be blue as well with graphics

The cockpit deck is being removed/lowered about 10". The gunwale will hit me about mid thigh. With the Mercs coming out, I'll have abundant room to make two macerated fish boxes. I'll also be glassing in a live bait well in the transom.

I will take some pics this weekend... I talked to the owner the other day for the first time by chance as he is far away.... but somehow we met in a bar....go figure:) ....He bought the boat because of the roof....he could take the flybridge off and be left with a roof...so he had little fabricating to do. He did say he spent 3 years redoing it.... but it was a complete retrofit
