Hey guys, I have a set of Bennett Trim tabs on my SeaRay and the starboard side started leaking last season. When I pulled the boat for the season I found oil on the lower piston of the starboard cylinder. I know the o-rings can be replaced, but considering the age, should I just replace the cylinder? If just replacing the o-rings is adequate, should I replace the port side o-rings to be safe? Last and final question, how do I go about getting the new o-rings?

Thanks,

Tabman will surely respond soon, and I'm willing to bet he'll send you a set of o'rings for your actuators. Its not a difficult job. Just be careful when you take it apart. I had to chase the spring across the yard.

Brian,

I would be delighted to send you replacement O-rings and instructions how to change them, no charge. I would not change the actuators (cylinders) the O-rings should do the job. I will send you parts for two actuators so you may do both sides.

Send me your name and address in a private message and we will mail them out right away.

Tom,

Thank you so much...it's amazing to have a company stand behind their product like this.
