nyc boat show 16

I totally agree with Mark.

If you want to start with something closer, go to Annapolis MD boat show, which is usually in October. Then, move on to FLIBS (begining of Nov) and/or MIBS (mid Feb), for some serious WOW factor.

The only reason we all go is to check out the venders and go to dinner in the city with all our friends. I wouldn't drive 5 1/2 to any show including Miami!!! But if you'd like to have dinner with all of us then by all means come on over.

We may be in for the show and dinner. Depends on if we can get a sitter.

Hope you can make it.

We are bringing Danny with us. We will try for dinner too, but may need to bail at some point before he gets cranky.

Going Friday but I wish I could have made it for the Sea Ray invite but I have too many guys to change plans.
Have fun everyone!

We should make plans so we can get a reservation somewhere. We love Carmine's but I have a feeling that on a Saturday night after the boat show and any nearby Broadway shows let out that place is going to be a mad house (it usually is). I guess In the long run any good place will be crazy on a Saturday night.

If we can get a head count I will call for a reservation at whatever place we decide. Thoughts?

I will be there with Colleen, so there's two for the head count (if we're counting).

I don't know where to go, so I'll leave that up to the experts. Just make sure the restaurant has something that everyone in the group will fully enjoy, that it has a great atmosphere, has really good service, is very convenient to get to, can accommodate any special requests we may have, and is reasonably priced (maybe $10/head)

I guees we should make reservations at the lowe residents if we want that kind of service!

Me and donna will be there

So we will just walk to Peter Lugar's in Brooklyn, without a reservation.
Otherwise I agree with Jonathan, we should go to Greg and Colleen's house!

Ok, so I called Carmine’s just to see what our options could be. The earliest dinner reservation for a group (up to 14 people) on Saturday night would be 10:00pm.They are available for a lunch seating for a group (again up to 14 people) between 11:30 and 1:00pm.

If we are more than 15 people, they have a separate reservation line and do a price fix/special menu. They may have additional times available for the larger groups, but I would need to call back and speak to someone to confirm this.

A rough count, based on who responded on the thread including Joe’s friends, would put us at 22 (24 if Alex and Jelena join us).

Thoughts?

Count Melina and I in! Greg, I don't think McDonalds in Manhattan can accommodate our group, so we may need to modify the budget... ;)

Alright folks, since the group is so large we had to move the venue. We have secured a room at Juniper at 237 W35 st. Between 7th and 8 th.
We Have a "Friend" there who assures us we will be taken care of. As of right now we are around 24-26 members with 2 couples soon to be members and flotilla attendees. 7:30-8 pm. So here's the grub:

Tammie and I are definitely in for dinner. We'll be driving in and should arrive at the show around 2pm.
