NW cruising plans for 2010?

Yes.
It felt like it came to town last Saturday.
Get the gas card and some disposable cups... it's boating season!

Just got back from an impromptu week and a half. Weather was great, had a good time and we're heading back around the 20th of July for two weeks! Can't wait!

We've moved our week long trip back to Aug 6-16. We will still be up in the San Juan and Gulf islands every weekend from the 10th until then.

We leave Calgary for the drive to Vancouver on the 12th of July. Drive back the other way around July 29th.

Will spend most of the the time in the gulf islands, then on to Comox for a few days and some time in Desolation Sound. No real hard plans on when or where will be, after all it is a Vacation.

Do you have and MMSI #?

Duh. Ok then. I'll program you in and once it gets closer get in contact with you.

In 2000 went from Roche Harbor down San Juan Island and around Lopez on the way to Anacortes. Was in a 1989 4 Winns 245. Had spent a week in the San Juans. When the wind is up it's a little choppy. Some junk in the water especially large pieces of seaweed. No problems. Are you launching in La Connor (Deception Pass). If so another place to launch is close to Anacortes off of HWY 20 at the Swinomish Channel Boat launch http://www.skagitparksfoundation.org/swinomish.htm

Wow! This was for LAST summer!

But we'll do the same thing NEXT summer too! It's nice to see another large trailerable in the area! Welcome! We'll have to meet next Spring on Lake Pend Oreille or Priest Lake!!

Our trailer is painted so we have the boat dropped in using the sling at Anacortes. It's a home made trailer and easy to work on, but I don't want to expose it to salt water for our once a year trip.
