Now that Vermont is...

Hi there, We keep our 1986 340 SB at Buoy 39 Marina and get to most parts of the lake every year. Had a nice cruise up around Alburg etc last summer.

Welcome everyone! We keep our '86 250DA in Shelburne Bay and the Donzi could appear just about anywhere at any time. We overnight in the Sundancer nearly every weekend all summer. Last year we spent a week in September and traveled through the Champlain Canal to Ft Edward on the Hudson River. This year we are planning a fall trip to Oneida Lake and maybe as far as Lake Ontario.

I grew up in Alburg(h) on Lake Champlain(parents still live there on the lake), boating most weekends with my parents, and practically living in the lake from around May 15 until mid-September or so. Now I live in Milton, and trailer my boat to the inland sea about 8 miles away every chance I can get. Last yr we camped out on knight island. I love heading out to one of the islands, and finding a bay to anchor in, and enjoy the sun, water and gorgeous views. And yes, there are some great sand beaches, but they are rare, typically on the south or north side of points or islands.

Frank,

Another Lake Champlain boater here. I am usually on the lake every nice night after work and every weekend that I can be. I am usually somewhere between St Albans Bay and Rouses Point.
