For all of my fellow Northern CA Sea Ray owners, do you know why diesel fuel is so much higher there than here in Southern CA? My boat is currently in the Delta and I am bringing it south next week so I started to do some planning. The lowest cost diesel I could find was in Pittsburg at $4.20 per gallon. My destination port in Long Beach is $1.90 per gallon.

Is it the "Neste Renewable Diesel" used in Northern California that drives up the costs? Good old red dye diesel used down here. Thank you in advance for the info.

An hour further down river in Benicia the diesel is $3.20 but the pumps are SSLLOWWW. Can't say why there is such a difference in price between north and south regions. Have a great trip home and enjoy your new to you boat. We have a couple of new owners that just made the trip from San Diego to Benicia on there new to them boats and reportedly had great voyages.
