For all of my fellow Northern CA Sea Ray owners, do you know why diesel fuel is so much higher there than here in Southern CA? My boat is currently in the Delta and I am bringing it south next week so I started to do some planning. The lowest cost diesel I could find was in Pittsburg at $4.20 per gallon. My destination port in Long Beach is $1.90 per gallon.
Is it the "Neste Renewable Diesel" used in Northern California that drives up the costs? Good old red dye diesel used down here. Thank you in advance for the info.
