So, who on here is going to be on Norris Lake this summer? I am looking to meet up with some others for some good boating time this year. I have a 195 so i am good to pull tubes and skis, wake boards to, but I don't toss a big wake.

We got a group that boats over by the Cove Lake free launch and docks at Moutain Lake Marina, allthough I do not put my boat in a slip except around hollidays, I usually put in a Norris dam.

Anyway, if anyone is looking for a day of fun hanging out with us or wants to meet up for some dinner and drinks at on of the Marina's, post up. If we find enough, we might just have to make a day plan of it.

All activities should be considered kid friendly on the lake, unless we decide to do a night out at one of the Marinas. Even then we have children that are with us from time to time that range in ages 9-17, and we always make sure to be safe and responisble for them. My wife and I do not have children of our own, but we love to have others as guest on our boat.

kyle f- We generally go to Norris around the fourth of July. We will be there June 28 until at least July 8. We always make sure to hit Corona and Wing night at Sequoyah Marina. We stay in Big Creek by marker 6. We launch at White Bridge.

kyle f- We have a place on Norris by Springs Marina. We will be down there on and off all summer. Let me know when you will be there and we can try and hook up . I always have a few kids with us.

bucknut - Where do you boat in Ohio?

Kyle we don't do much boating in Ohio. Kids got spoiled going to Norris. With gas prices I will be leaving boat there all summer.

I will be down June 14-20. I rented my friends house with dock. It is around Springs Dock. We were down last year and loved the lake.

I've never heard of Norris Lake, but we're making a trip to Douglas Lake in the end of July. I've been looking for someone that's been boating on Douglas, ya'll have any insight?

Should you wind up around point 19 (Loyston area) give us a shout. We'll be on the hook by Pilot Island. Scott
