I have an older Norcold DE351D refrigerator and I have found a vendor who will make me a new gasket as Norcold does not sell them. I need to know how to take the frame apart so I can remove the old gasket. Anyone done this before? Alternately I am seeing that you just trash the door and buy a new one and cost wise I might as well just by a new refrigerator.

Most of these fridges have gaskets that are friction fit into a channel. You gently pull them out for cleaning. It helps to do this when they are warm and more flexible. Clean with a little spray bleach, rinse well and reinstall.

If you’re interesting a new fridge to replace check out Vitrifrigo I just put one in as have many in the marina and club. Nice quality.

I dismantled my old fridge but didn’t pay close attention to the gasket, but I believe the trim is screwed all around the door, it may fit under it. Perhaps someone who has a Norcold can look at theirs. I tossed my booklet, but it is likely online.
If you were to go to a new Vitrifrigo they make a few models and are bigger inside and smaller outside but have a wider flange kit. I was able to install it while only removing the door. The old Norcold was too big for the doorway, so it was dismantled. The new one is very quiet as well. Good luck.
