Do the 185s hold their value very well?

I have an 07 185 Sport with the 4.3L, tower, tribal graphics, battery switch, and the bow cushion and coolers (I installed those myself). I love the boat and have just been curious what kind of resale value I should be expecting with this boat. Thinking about upgrading to a 200SD next year.

You may want to check here to see what people are asking for their boats. Another option is to call your dealer to ask what they would give you on trade in to see what they would be offering. That said realize that is a two way deal - it does you no good if they give you full value on your 185 and sell you the 200 at full price.

Hope this helps...

I don't know what you paid, but I have an 06 pretty close to the same options you have minus storage tubs, I think I could sell it for 21K give or take a little, just going off what I've seen some sell for around here without the tower. As with anything if you sell it yourself you will do a lot better than trading it in, and the 185 should sell pretty easily with the 4.3 and a wakeboard tower. My advice though, would be to get the 220 sun deck that way it will last you 2 years before you want another boat. I'm with you though, my next one will be a deck boat for sure, love the 220, really love the 240, but that's a lot of change to drop on one toy. If I only had one hobby and sold the kids......
