Good day all,
I have no feed power to my starboard key switch or breaker on my 1994 500 da. Any ideas? I can't seem to locate a wiring schematic for this vessel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might need to elaborate a little more, but what are the symtoms? Turn the key, no start? Have you put a DMM on it?

Just to check the free/easy, are the transmissions levers in neutral?

No voltage to switch.. transmission free and easy. Moved circuit to port side and it works . Need to know where feed voltage originates.

All power starts at the starter sometimes thru a 90A fuse link
Supposed to protect you from a bad alt but merc also included your main electrical system even though your protected by the 50A circuit breaker

Ok ...so where does it change from 00 wire size to 10 Guage? Would that be at the battery switch?

1st step would be to try to find the factory wiring diagram for the boat. Should be a worlds worth of info there.

I feel your pain on that one. Only thing I find for your boat is a parts manual and a spec sheet.

Same for my '95 220 Sig Select

Typically, but not assuredly, the ignition power comes from the engine harness. The later diesel applications have fuses or circuit breakers in that harness.
So, from the batteries to the boat's main disconnect switches;
Then, from the disconnect switches to the main circuit breaker panel and the engine's control system circuit breaker.
Then, from the circuit breaker to the engine's main harness and it's controls.
Then to the keyswitch in the solon.
Then to the helm ignition/start switch.

Thank you... I was hoping to find a schematic just due to being able to follow the wires through the harness. That helps very much though.
