I have a Kohler 5e generator on my 2002 280DA. The generator fires up with no problem, however when I flip the power switch inside the cabin, I'm getting no power to the panel. This is the first time in 4 years this has ever happened. Is there some type of fuse or circuit that may be tripped? Thanks!!

There should be a white breaker on the actual generator right next to the hours counter. Make sure that did not get knocked in to the OFF position last time you were in the bilge.

I haven't been down in the bilge for a while but I'll check it out when I'm back tom the boat next weekend. My wife did blow the main breaker this weekend when she was drying her hair and the A/C and hot water tank were running. However, we were on shore power when that happened. Not sure if the two events are related or not. Thanks for the reply.

+1 I've accidentally trip this breaker twice. The first time was when I frst got the boat and thought something was way wrong. The second is when I did my manifolds. I think my pocket must have tripped it. Good luck!

You were correct. The breaker on the generator was in the off position. Not sure how that happened but it works just fine now. Thanks for your help.
