No power except to trim

When I put my batteries back in my 02 Searay 220 mercruiser engine I think a 5.0 .I croosed the polarity and lost power to everything and the boat wont start . Is there a fusable link somewhere ? The trim still has power and the reset button behind the breather does not reset

did you try a search. There was a recent discussion about a inline fuse back in the engine compartment.

check and make sure that big black 10 pin connector for the electrical harness with the hose clamp on it is not loose and seated well to make good contact. I had mine loosen and had the same problem. Loosen the clamp disconnect it inspect for any corrosion slide it back on tighten the clamp and give it a try.

well I did a search and couldn't find anything. Seems to me someone did the same as you and had similar result. There was fuse located in one of the harnesses in the engine compartment that was blown. maybe worth looking for that.

Are you getting power to the electronics module under the helm?
