NMEA 2000/Electrical consistent headaches

Another straw here and showing my age..... Is the cable only able to pass data one way and perhaps your reversed it when you switched it to the other engine?

I thought about that, and that was brought up at the early stages of my troubleshooting. If I don't start the starboard engine at all, I still have the issue, so I don't think this would apply.

The item I linked isn't an ACR, it's a power conditioner. Think of it as a UPS for your 12V equipment. Helps prevent brief surges/sags from getting through.

Well darn, I thought that was what the APC was for. I was referring to 2000's post.

I ran my NMEA2000 network, raymarine e120, DSM 150, and my DSM 300 all hooked directly to the battery. After turning everything on, my DSM 300 is now not showing me depth. It's blinking amber and it's basically not working at all.

Maybe it's not getting enough power? I have a small gauge wire, 16 I believe running from the spliced wires back to one of the batteries.

Thoughts?
