Technically, Staten Island and Brooklyn are part of NYC ;-)

Nice pic on Raritan Bay!

Great Pic!
I am jealous... I was born on SI, and grew up in NJ.
Now in FL... always somehow wish I could cruise around NY harbor with my boat.
Post more if you can.

I live in NJ own a boat (albeit my 1st year owning a boat) and really wish I could cruise around NY harbor as well. I think I can I think I can I think I can. That pix is so awesome!!

Ya gotta get out of the bay! ;-)

Great pictures!!

What's it like cruising in NY harbor?
Traffic, depth, conditions, etc.
Wish I could try it!

Anyone circle Manhattan? Curious as to how long it takes, obviously depending on speed.

NY Harbor is like a washing machine most of the time and there's a pretty wicked current flowing through as well. Lot's of traffic - private vessels, ferrys, tour boats.

Manhattan is about 13 miles long. About 29 miles to circumnavigate. I did it in the CircleLine once, but never on my boat. I'd bet it's AT LEAST 2 hours in a boat like yours.

This pic doesn't do it justice...it was pretty choppy that day (photo credit to mistercomputerman)
