Nice little tub

Wife and I were in Savannah last week when this pulled in: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/details/ships/1002756/vessel:MICHAELA_ROSE. No owners just crew. 13 of them. Docked at the Hyatt. Hyatt was not happy. Guess nobody told the Hyatt they were arriving. Was hoping to bump into Rusty on one of his deliveries. No luck.

She does look a nice "little tub", was a bit surprised to see she's registered in the UK, many cheaper places I'm sure, but suppose being from the Channel Islands I shouldn't be.

161.5 ft.; built in 1984 in Denmark by Schweers - Lurssen Group. She has been in charter use for several years and is still owned by the original purchaser, Trammel Crowe, a Texas based developer. Cruises @ 14 kts, has made several circumnavigations. She has a cored hull with steel skin and an aluminum superstructure, powered by Duetz MWM 1050 hp diesels…she was extensively refit in 2008.
