It was a great day and the first real maiden voyage (all the family) went fantastic. The boat ran great and just am impressed at how stable and solid this ole gal is for an 18fter.

Running a 19" SS we averaged 20-22mph at 3000 rpm with 3 persons and 3/4 tank gas. We got 4300 rpm at wot and 32-34mph depending on chop. The boat handled the chop well with all the traffic in the river.

Im still getting used to boating up here in the midwest (rivers, lakes) vs Sou Fla. I was all proud having my brand new anchor and rode with proper tackle and sufficient line etc. So I grab the anchor with one hand and the rubberized in matching yellow chain and threw it out there expecting to have the line run through my hand a bit and maybe burn, then all of a sudden right after the anchor hits the water it went thunk! WTF? 3ft of depth! You can walk across these lakes and rivers. I then noticed everybody standing in the water next to their anchored boats. This seemingly minor thing was more profound for me in my minimal experience w fresh water boating.

Awesome! She looks happy afloat!

what an awesome little boat. i sometimes miss having my little 170 signature when we go through waquoit bay watching all the skiers and tubers

I'm going to look into trim tabs, electric or hydraulic, and a nice recessed fish/depth finder, and just ordered a Solas 4-blade prop. This little boat is indeed tons of fun. Thanks.
