I'm a little underwhelmed with what the Lions did last night. Both players taken are good (running back and linebacker) but I figured they could have packaged the 6 and 18 picks to move up and get a defensive line stud. I think they have 3 picks tonight so we'll see, I guess.
 
The last time I watched a draft I was in it.

I can’t get over what this event has turned into….. from not televised to full blown tv coverage and 100,000 people attending….. crazy

Don’t try and think you can fix the Lions

not that I care but will be interesting to see how the jets end up…. Off to a good start with the pick yesterday and no I am not a rogers fan

My ops manager took off for a two day "draft party" out of town. Crazy.
 
I watched it for about 10 mins, what a shit show. I only knew about from channel surfing. My favorite was the #8 pick, when they interviewed his mom she said God was why he went #8 and not #10 and she thanked god for him being the #8 pick. Really, God did that?

That's what they said about the Bucs... They were "my" team for around 25 years. They were a joke when I first got down there. I think they have the best management team in maybe forever. I think Sheila Ford Hamp actually cares about putting a good team on site field.
 
Of course. Dont you know? God loves YOUR team and HATES the opponent. GOD is the reason YOUR wide receiver made that catch and the opposing goal kicker missed.

I used to love the ravens. Hell, my cat is named Raven. Then they got that prima donna thug. I aint watched a game since. I was really hoping they’d send him down the road. Nope they gave him contract today. The MFer won 1 playoff came, He a bum. Nope. Wont watch any Ravens game this season.
When i was lil kid, my dad took me to watch the J E T S JETS JETS JETS! Beat Colts. Now i live here, i don’t mention it. Jets always been my 2nd favorite team. Ill be watching them this year. GO JETS!

Friends dog is named Raven, my 1st dog was named Camden for Camden Yards.

Regarding thug, I used to joke with my friend I had no idea what that thug was saying, how'd he get thru HS yet alone college - he'd argue with me. Well, now that he is leaving he agrees with me.

As a Bengals fan, I'm absolutely loving the QB contracts the Browns and Ravens recently awarded. Should hamstring the franchises for the next few years.
 
Totally get where you're coming from about the Lions' draft choices. Sometimes you've got to scratch your head a bit at the decisions, right? A defensive line stud could've been a game-changer for them, especially considering the talent that was up for grabs this year.
Speaking of game-changing, ever watch a game at Lumen Field where the Seahawks play? The atmosphere is absolutely insane. If you ever plan on going, make sure you're aware of the Seahawks bag policy. You're limited to clear bags measuring 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. A small clutch about the size of your hand is also allowed.
