First time boat owner, just purchased a 2006 Sea Ray 185 Sport 4.3l Mercruiser with Monster wakeboard tower. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, and from what I've seen of the discussions on this site I know it will be an excellent resource. Thank you in advance for all of the helpful insights.

Thanks all for the salutations. No pics yet, will post some as soon as the rain lets up. I finally succumbed to the boating flu, figured I'm not getting any younger, and my wife, myself and our 5 year old son would be well served building some memories on the water. I live in Baldwin County, Alabama, about 20 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico, and we plan on primarily boating in the numerous inland waterways (Mobile Bay, Magnolia and Fish rivers, Pensacola Bay, the Intracoastal Waterway, etc.) I work at a shipyard in Mobile, Austal USA, building the Independence class variant of the LCS.
