Newbie to SeaRay

Between boats right now. Just sold a 23.5 Mariah Davanti with a 5.7. Prior to that we were sailors (sail boats) for 30 years. We are close to retirement and want a little larger boat to do some adventure boating like Lake Powell and Havasu...and possibly the gulf coast. We are looking at an older 1979 Sun Dancer that has been repowered with a 454 Merc and Merc outdrive. The guy has spent four years working on this boat and has done literally everything..new gel coat, upholstery etc. This boat has got lots of room for us and we can still pull it with our diesel mh. Would like to hear from others that might own this year Sun Dancer....or is it to old for this forum ???.
