This is the first post of a proud new owner of a 2006 Searay 220 Sundeck. This is my first boat since I was in high school, close to 50 years ago. Yikes! Anyway the used boat is really nice well cared for with 307 hours.

I do not have a 12v accessory outlet. I assume the PO removed it or placed something else in its place. I have read the manual searched this site and google and cannot find the original location. I really hated to ask this question but I have spent two days off and on looking for the answer. I suspect perhaps the po placed a 3.5 mm auxillary jack in its place next to the stereo, but not really sure. I bought the boat from consignment at a marina so I never met the owner. He did leave a 12v outlet with very large alligator clips that could be connected to the battery posts but that just won't do. I will add an oulet or perhaps a double but woukd like to be in the original location and wire it to the appropriate power connection.

Can't help you the original location of the 12V plug, but when you do decide where to put it, consider a dual USB plug rather than a cigarette lighter.

Congratulations and welcome to CSR!

Did you try looking in the cubby below the shift/throttle lever? On the forward wall of that area?

However, there will be a fuse already assigned to the 12V accessory in the fuse box behind the helm. BUT... there is NO NEED to put it in a "factory" location. Put it where it will be most beneficial to you - depending on what you want it for, of course.

That is the spot for the outlet on my Sundeck. I have also added several USB ports in different locations throughout the boat for everyone’s convenience.

Welcome to CSR!

You could always leave the cigarette and bring one of these with you while aboard. Covers all the bases, phones, spotlights and computers.
