newbie/my '78 197srv

My first post here, thought id say hi and im pupmed about getting my 1978 SR out into the lake on its first trip today! Bought this old gal a couple years ago as aproject, needed an engine so I picked up a 350 CID chev out of an identical SR.
Last week I installed a cd player/radio and a pair of 6x9's under the rear seats, a second battery, rope lights under the gunnels, a fish/depth finder and the kicker motor.
More recently I replaced the bad trim/tilt motor (thanks Tonys Marine in Marine City Mi) and today we took it out on its mainden voyage onto the rough and windy lake Huron.

K heres a few pics from todays trip and tonites photoshoot. Unfortunatly my DC-AC converter died so I had to use an extention cord to power the lights, shrug. And ya ya, I know.. The boat needs a good cleaning.
