HI everyone, I am fairly new to boating (this will be my 3rd season), I've never owned or operated a boat before purchasing my 320 Sundancer new in June of 2007.

To say that its been a learning experience would be an understatement. However, I've never been happier in my life. The boating community consist of some of the greatest people I have ever known.

Anyway, I am eagerly looking forward to participating in this forum, although, I will probably get more here than I am able to give!

Welcome! Nice looking boat... congratulations.I am all over the coastal waters from NH to RI. Where do you boat out of?

Welcome, are you in Boston Harbor? Russo customer?

With some more experience and time, I hope to be making some NH & RI trips as well.

I'm docked at Marina Bay, it's nice there, especially the boardwalk, restaurants and night clubs!

I'm at Marina Bay, I purchased from Russo and they do all of my services. I store it with them in the winter also (inside). Where are you in Boston?

We are out of Medford in the Mystic Wellington YC and come to Marina Bay often. Also down Worlds End and Cohasset a lot with the kids. Welcome to the site!

Aren't you technically in Quincy?

Welcome Bajan. I am on the river in Newton, and also head over to Marina Bay for dinner a few times a season.

How long does that trip usually take?

The Newton Yacht Club is at the furthest point up river. The ride (at no wake) is close to an hour to the locks. Having to go under the train bridge and through the locks gets to be a pain. But, I'd rather be on the boat for that hour than in traffic.

They did a nice job on the Esplanade. There is a new dock, movies for the kids on Fridays, and concerts during the summer.

Technically yes, my hailing port is Boston and I live in Boston also!

We'll see you out there this year, I'm sure. Does Marina bay have temp docking for diners?

Did you check out Constitution Marina when you got your boat? I wonder what attracted you to Marina Bay. That short ride on the expressway drives me crazy with all the traffic.

I just checked with Marina Bay, they charge $20 for temp docking.

Even before buying the boat, I would always go over to Marina Bay for diner, so it was a logical choice for me. I live in Jamaica Plain, it's a strait shot up Morton St./Gallivan Blvd. and over the bridge to Quincy. It takes me 10 to 15min tops from house to the boat. Also, It's nice having the boardwalk with all the resturants and night life right there, you can call in an order and they will deliver at the docks.
