Hi All,

New to this board. purchased a 2003 340 Sundancer last year. Been cruisin the bay for the last 5 years, and love it. We keep the boat at Sunset Harbor in the MIddle River and cruise all over the bay. Name of the boat is "Pili Lani". I know some others that have rendezvous, are there any Sea Ray rendezvous on the bay?

If ya see me out there stop buy I am buying the first round.

Hello Craig and welcome!

Nice boat the 340DA

Maybe you can post some pics, and put your boat info (engine, drive, etc) in your sig.

Like to see some photo's from your boat.

Welcome to the board.... you can guarantee I will hunt you down to take you up on that offer!! :smt038

Yes there are sea ray rendezvous on the bay... sponsored by Clarks Landing.... check there website.. they may be listed there. If not, i will let you know when we get this year's schedule.

Craig-
I just bought a boat from Clark's Landing and they are definately working on an SR rendezvous for this year. They say theyre going to try to take over an Island (probably Hart-Miller up your way) with a couple hundered Sea Rays. Will keep you posted as particulars come out.

Also, if you ever find yourself down Rock Hall way, give us a shout... we can throw back a beer or two at Waterman's or the Harbor Shack.

We keep our boat at the Sailing Emporium on the harbor. Don't let the name fool you, they do allow power boats!

Cheers, Tim

Hey Craig, I know a couple guys going to sunset for this year. I hear they have an excellent service dept.

Craig, there are a number of Chesapeake trips and get-togethers being talked about all over this board. Also, Clarks Landing has their calendar set up for 2007. There is something almost every other weekend on their calendar already. I'm not sure if you got your boat from Clarks and I'm not sure if their trips are open to owners that didn't buy from them. But if you can get in on those there will be a few folks from this board on them, myself included.

Re: your boat... I love the 340  We had a contract on a 2006 340 when a 38 came in on trade. It was too good a deal to pass up so we picked it up, but the 340 is a great boat. I wish you many great boating days on her. :smt038

All,

Thanks for the warm welcome to this board, apprciate it very much. Already counting down days till the boats back in the water.

Mark..I have been at Sunset Harbor for the past 4 years. Their mechanic is the best as far as Iam concerned. Also, very family oriented staff. I have become quite close to the owners and the one thing that I appreciate more than anything is they never try to do service or push unnecessary stuff on you. In fact they always give advice on how to save money. Not too many Marinas out there like that.

Larry.. We did purchase our Sea Ray from Clarks... We went to Cambridge last year for their customer appreciation wekend and had a blast despite the rain. The boat we purchased actually belonged to friends of ours who jumped up to a 44 Sundancer they got from Clarks. The boat they purchase was on scheduled to be delivered to Billick but they ended up buying it and Clarks let Billick use the 48.

So looking forward to hooking up with you all this summer. We are planning a few trips this year. More to come as plans solidify.

Again thanks for the welcome. I will get pics on here as soon as I take them...in mmy excitement to jujst get out on the water last year. I did not get any pics. I know bad on me. But last year was kind of busy. I just got back from the Middle East. Actually purchased the boat all oline via email...thats a story in itself. picked the boat up 3 days after my return in July.

Well hope to see you all on the water

My bad brother, Mr. Billick that is. Yeah I agree, he definitely took the team this year. Lets hope next year they make it to the dance.

Chief, glad to see you got your boat from Clarks. Other than the golf tournament in June, we're planning on doing all the trips and rendezvous. We're particularly looking forward to the Cambridge and St. Michael's trips... and of course, to the last minute CSR get-togethers

Looking forward to meeting the internet, :smt024 Chesapeake Sea Ray boaters.
