Hello all. My wife and I just purchased a 2002 Sea Ray 230 Bowrider and are extremly excited. We pick it up next week.
Boat seems to be in great condition except for the graphics. There are a lot of scratches, missing pieces, etc. But other than that, it looks great. The motor has 133 hours. We just upgraded from a Pontoon to this. Should be fun.

You are right with the correction. It will be fun. Whoo Hoo!!

Congrats on the boat! You'll love it.

The graphics can be removed if they are ugly looking. You could get new sea ray graphics but they are not cheap. Alot of people like the no graphics look.

Congrats on the new Sea Ray. Look at the scratches this way, you won't be hard on yourself if you add to them. My 04 has a few as the previous owner's boat house entrance was a little rough getting into.

You will enjoy, and add some pics so we can check it out

Congrats....looks like a bigger version of my 185! What did you end up getting her for.....I'm wanting to move up to a 220 but my fiance wants to wait a year or two....

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pics of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Very nice boat. Should run well too with the 350 Mag. One note regarding your bimini top. You may have already figured it out but, it looks like you have the aft bimini supports in the high position. You can loosen or disconnect the front straps and then press in the detents on the aft bimini suports until they click into the low position, then tighten and reconnect the forward bimini straps. Then the bimini top will be level and properly supported front to back.

Crock, you have a nice machine too, but my personal favorite is the '01-'05 230/240 BR/Select. This particular model a great lines and is well balanced from bow to stern. It's also a very nice running boat.

SeaRide,

Thanks for the information on the bimini. I was thinking it didnt look even. Now I know.
I can't wait to go pick it up and run it.

Thanks man! you made me feel good!.. Im going through BIGGER BOAT syndrome! Im fighting it badly... Im telling myself "I will not refinance my house to get a bigger boat" I already sold my motorcycle to have the nice downpayment i put on my boat.. but when your on the water and see all these bigger boats.....

You are quite welcome. I did the exact same thing when I set the bimini up for the first time. It just didn't quite look right. So, I started poking around and figured it out shortly thereafter.
