I finally decided it was time to registered after reading posts for over a year and introduce myself. My wife(31yrs old), daughter(11 yrs old), and myself (32yrs old) had the oppurtunity last October to purchase our first boat, a 2004 200 Select. The boat has a 5.0 mpi w/a bravo III, wake tower with bimimi(sp?) top, 100 hrs, and the dark blue gel coat. We feel we got a great deal and just couldn't turn it down. So this past winter we became official Sea Ray owners. We have been out on the boat several times already this summer as our local boat ramp is only a few minutes away. Lake Lure is a small lake with the 200 Select being the largest boat you can put on their lake. We tow the boat with my full size 2004 2500 Dodge 4x4 Cummins, so there is no problem pulling it out of the water. We have a concrete ramp thats on the steep side, so pushing if off the trailer and just using a rope to pull it back on has been very easy. I have learned a lot of do's and don'ts on this CSR forum which has helped this new boater in many ways.

Its amazing how you feel on the lake boating with such a great boat. The boat continues to amaze me everytime we take it out on the water. We are very excited to be a part of a special group of boaters. In the future, I am sure I will post up and ask the questions new owners ask, continue to use the search option, and join in on many threads.

Here is some pictures of the boat from Fathers day. We invited our friends and their baby out for a great day on the lake. If you guys have any questions about us, just ask away.

Brian..........it's about time you showed up here instead of spending all your time on the Camaro boards. :smt043

Let me welcome you to CSR and I know you will find a lot of good information here. BTW......your 200 SEL looks better than your Camaro SS.

You hit the nail on the head there. Problem I have now is my boat is really taking time away from my Camaro. It also took a serious bite out of my mod money for the SS  Well, I guess I will show off my other toy then.

That Camaro is beautiful Brian. You put all the rest of us Camaro guys to shame.

Thanks Dave. That picture was before I put it into the gravel pit this early spring in turn 1 at Road Atlanta. At this point it needs a little work to get it back to that car show shine. Its just hard to get a break when you have a Sea Ray.
