[Mac-Daddy-Minnesota]

Hello. I recently purchased a 1990 Sea-Ray 310. Has some water staining on the headliner in the cabin. Mechanically the boat is a 8 out of 10, I have some work to do and look forward to learning new skills. Currently we are using the rig as a day cruiser.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how to clear the stains? The items on the deck have been re-bedded and no further leaks have been noted.

Hard to remove the stains... might consider painting. Even if it's carpet it can be spray painted.

Welcome to CSR! I had an older boat with some stains in a carpet type headliner. I was successful using a mildew and stain remover. I think it was Starbrite from Worst Marine.

Neighbor at marina suggested ZEP. Wonder if that is the mildew remover. Boat smells fine.
