Today we took Beachcomber out for our annual New Year's Day cruise. The weather was in the 50's, light winds, partly cloudy; just a nice day to be on the water.

We had invited another couple to join us and they'd already planned a NYD informal lunch with two other couples so we invited them all along.

We left the dock at noon and got back to the slip around 3:00. Everybody got a chance to drive as we slow cruised up the Columbia about 12-13 miles. After we turned around we got up on plane and ran a good part of the way back on plane just to give the engines a chance to get heated up a bit.

Once we returned to the slip we all went down below and munched on some of the great munchies everyone brought and drink a NY Day Corona.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics to share except one that one of the guys took as they were leaving the boat. Sorry. I promise to do better next time.
