New vs. Slightly Used

I recently bought my first boat- a 1999 190 Signature. It was in excellent shape, fully loaded including a beautiful painted-to-match tandem axle trailer, and only had 62 hours on the clock. I ended up paying less than HALF of what the original owner paid- I know, because the original sales receipt was included in the records he gave me with the boat.

I know the little boats and big boats are apples and oranges, but I just thought I should share my "used vs. new" story with you.
