This was taken yesterday from our dock on the ICW - Amy was filming and my 2 year old daughter Allie could be heard in the background saying COOL when I honked the horn, haha. She's a riot.

She sure rides pretty!

Nice looking ride. Your wife didn't sound as impressed as your daughter :) Seems like SR made the horn less "Ducky" than the previous years as well.

LOL, yeah Amy was pretty unimpressed but Allie was all over it.

The speed limit here is 25 MPH - which was probably where I was give or take 5MPH, but the cops here don't care unless you're in a go-fast boat doing about 50+ - especially if it's crowded.

There were to be no acrobatics that day as I was in a hurry to get her slipped. But maybe we'll work something out in the future on a calm, boatless afternoon. Stupid human/boating tricks would be kind of fun.

I think Gary has a used go-cart you can use in your program.

I always like to learn something since I am a new boater:
There dosn't look to be much of a wake.
My boat with a single engine and Bravo 3 drive appears to have a large rolling wake.
Is this function of the V-drive compared to the Sterndrive? it Also sounds cool. Thanks. John G.

Hi John,
There are a number of things that can effect wake size. If you're not trimmed correctly and you have too much of a nose-up, you are plowing the water and driving inefficiently, likely causing a large wake. Try adding a bit of nose down trim and see how that does for you.

Operating the boat at speeds that are too slow for it to be fully on-plane can create the same effect of too little trim, where you are just plowing along.

Also, overloading your boat and causing it to sit below it's designed waterline could create a problem too...

I'm sure there are a number of things that I didn't mention and maybe others will chime in, but those are just my thoughts.
