HI all:
I would just like to introduce my self. I have just purchased a new 2006 Sea Ray 280. I actually get the boat tomorrow. This is my 11th boating season and my first season with a Sea Ray. My last boat was a Regal 256 with twin 3.0 liter engines. The Sea Ray has twin 4.3 liter engines with Bravo three drives. Can't whait to get her in the water. I have been quite active on the Regal Club site and hope this site is just as much fun.

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pics of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Welcome to the board!I'm sure you will enjoy it here. A lot of great people!

I wish my boat running gear had cool names like "Alpha 1 drives" or "Bravo 3 drives".... I just have propellers. Maybe I'll make something up in my sig:

Gary

2003 480 Sedan Bridge
Twin 12.4 liter common rail electronic variable fuel injection hyperdrives with Gamma 8 power converters and full array props

Four Screaming Children.

I will post pics tomorrow after Misty II has been launched. I should have some good pics if it does not rain here all day.

If you remove the first line in your new sig it would sound like your describing the last line in it!

Yeah...say that fast 3 times :smt101 By the way Gary...you have problems with Bravo II's? :smt013
Welcome aboard Scott. Enjoy your stay and your new Sea Ray!

See! "Bravo II"... heck... all kinds of cool branding in that stuff...

I have a shaft and a prop.

As long as they aren't attached to a beanie on top of your head your doing great!

yeah... all this mercruiser stuff reminds me of the retro encabulator. If you can get through this video without laughing, you are proud of your Alpha or Bravo drive.

I'm sure I've seen you sport boat guys talk about "side worbling" and "panometric inductance" and "Girddle Springs" with your Bravo III drives. (Do they put Bravo III drives on Sport Boats?)

Welcome to the board Misty06 and congratualtions on the new Sea Ray.

I think you will enjoy your Sea Ray and this board as well in spite of the propensity to highjack threads from time to time.
BTW Gary, I invented the Retro Encabulator so if you have any more questions about the product fire away. :wow:

Welcome to the Board Misty 6 - Glad to have a new member. If you were active on the Regal board you might know our good friend Mystic Sun down in PCB. He is a token Sea Ray Board member.

As you can tell by some of the clowns around here we try to have fun and help each other out in a good natured way. And then of course everyonce in a while someone lets Gary out of his cage. :smt043

(Gary - its, "I got shafted and Propelled", not I got a shaft and propeller.)

Well she is in the water. Actually she has been in the water for a week now. But this is my first chance to post some pics.

She arrives.
