New to the Cruiser scene, looking for a 260DA

+1 on a beautiful boat, looks great. Its the same package that I have except the engine,,, same color, options, etc. Engine compartment looks really clean also. I wouldn't worry about the salt water concern. Have it surveyed, if its good, go for it. I've done all he maintenance stuff on mine, and also repaired a few minor issues too. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out, I' be glad to share any info I have.
Good Luck!

Looks clean. No genset though? Is that a deal killer or do you plan on adding it afterwards?

The thing that I'm not a fan of that some manufacturers do on the smaller cruisers is close off the aft cabin. If you're in the aft cabin, you're essentially totally closed off from the rest of your party. Some other manufacturers raise the cockpit deck to allow much more room in that area giving you the feeling that the boat is much bigger. It opens up the area for better conversation.

Genny would be a bonus for me but not a deal breaker to not have it. I don't think I'd add it. It would mostly be for running the A/C on the hook, but if its going to be super hot I can always grab a slip at one of the marinas near me.

I wouldn't add a genset. Get one with it. The resale value will hold much better with it.

I'm considering selling my 2005 Sundancer 260. No trailer, in Michigan -- is that a deal breaker?

I'm selling my 2004 260 with a merc. 5.0/B3 OD. Has 350 hrs and is clean. I'm in Long Island.
