With the 1989 Sea Ray 340DA, I'm thinking some day I'll learn but not yet. 4th project boat and I like this one... thinking I'll keep this one a while.

Engines are overhauled, working on the interior now, new canvas, maybe soon will get to the buffing and all that. Really looking forward to cruising the Outer Banks with this one. Have the paperwork in to the Coast Guard but it looks like exchange of Docs takes a couple months.

Will probably be asking lots of questions like where to find the hard to find stuff like window seals and things like that. My previous ones were Chris Craft, Four Winns and Bayliner 21, 23, and 30 with lots of prior owner sins so I'm expecting the unexpected again.

Reading some of the posts on here I think we're in good company.

So..... "Hello Sea Ray World!"

Hello HM, Great boat. Good luck with the refit. Lots of post and threads about that subject. Again, Welcome. JC

Welcome aboard! I can't wait to see pictures of all the work you're doing. I especially can't wait to see pics of you cruising the Carolina coast.

Welcome,

Owned an '89 da for about 4 years and did many updates and upgrades. We really liked the boat and it was our first inboard boat. There is a thread, a long one, for that boat. Do a search for it. Lots of great info on it for your boat.
