Hello,

My name is craig, and have just purchased a hardly used 2000 DA 270, and am quite proud to be a Sea Ray owner now. The boat will be delivered to us this week. We live on Lake Erie and plan to cruise, overnight, scuba, fish, and light watersport from this vessel. We are a family of 3, with another on the way and a wheaton terrier. All very excited about next season on the water. My wife and I both come from a long lineage of sailing and fishing families, but this is our first family boat. The 2000 wide beam setup fit almost every criteria we wanted. I believe it is the right boat for us now. I look forward to joining the sea ray club and learning all the ins/outs of this vessel and other sea ray models. Thanks for having me!!

Very cool boat, congrats!

It is a 270 DA

SD = sundeck

Congratulations and welcome to CSR!

Ahhh yes, i just saw that. SD-sundeck not sundancer. My bad on that one. Yes, we are in a 2000 DA.

Congrats on the new boat. That's a great boat for that part of the Lakes. I've been emailing with a guy who is looking for a used 330 who lives in Port Clinton. He's been picking my brain about 330's and where to use it.

Have fun on the new boat, and we all like to see pics of people using their boat and pics of where they use it.

Great News! That is how we started. Glad to hear your plans to get the family out on the water.
your laying the foundation for some great family memories. Welcome to the site!

Excellent welcomes so far. Thank you. And, excellent forum.

Welcome to CSR. Mighty darn exciting isn't it, bet ya can't wait. Is there not a wee bit of boating season left where you are?

Welcome to CSR! You will find very helpful and knowledgeable folks here that collectively can just about figure out any problem on a Sea Ray. Post us some pics and enjoy!

Well, we might squeeze a few more weeks. But, I want to work on the boat a little...remove old name, clean interior, sanitize fresh h2o, head...basic stuff to make it ours. Plus a few small fixes that came out in the survey. So, we will probably focus on that, aiming to have her all pretty and waiting for next season. We are stationed at the Erie Yacht Club, right across the bay from Presque Isle State Park.

Just delivered, safe and sound. This boat appears to have been rubbed with a diaper its whole life. Excellent shape. Nothing better than the total absence of buyers remorse. Glad to be a Sea Ray member!!
