Michigan is getting another tag in 2024. Initially they were talking about bringing back the black and white tag from the late 60's. I guess they settled on this one. Michigan has a few specialty tags but nothing close to the number offered in Florida.

I'm guessing that was the reason. I went with the blue tag even though I can't stand U of M or anything to do with Ann Arbor. I just don't like the other tags.

I hope they get the ncaa death sentence with the Level 1 notification.

Hah. I don't think of UofM when I see them. I think the blue and yellow are far enough away from the school colors that they can be viewed as university agnostic.

I bet 40-50% of drivers on this side of the state are running that winter wonderland plate. After years of suffering through the white ones...it's a nice change.

I really miss the winter generator threads.... winter License plate Threads just don't have the same appeal
I agree, the generator threads always have twists and turns and seemingly blind alleys. I like some of the threads about shaft alignment frustrations also.

That was supposed to be the next version but I'm guessing some MSU (green & white) grad in the legislature wanted the green more. I'm not getting a green tag.

I mean...don't they graduate 50,000 students every year? Of course they're everywhere! ha.

Though I guess they do okay on getting their graduates paid. At least they broke into the top 10 :)
