Its been about 10 years since we bought a boat that was brand new. Last 2 have been used. We are currently looking at either a new 230 SLX (as there’s next to no used on market) or a slightly used 250 SLX. We are leaning towards 230 due to weight though.

Question, nowadays what should one expect % off of msrp? If you feel more comfortable sending PM that’s fine. So far one we looked at they started at around 15% off with no negotiation. Just trying to see how much more is reasonable.

I believe in that price range on a SR, if you get close to 20% you did well.

Appreciate the input. I just ran across another that is a left over 2017 brand new that they have offered 26% off. Just seeing if that seems reasonable since it's technically 2 model years old (with new 2019 arriving). The 2017 actually has just about the exact options we would of ordered if we built one new from the factory.

Something to consider is how long you are planning on keeping this boat. With 26% discount you have to know what your boat is worth once it's splashed. It's a nice discount, but at this point in the season and the newer models coming out it's all about what it is worth after you have owned the boat.
