I've used Shurhold products for years and have had great luck with them. However, my new $82.00 mop head bit the dust after just two months of use. Shurhold is sending me a new head to replace the one that failed so being out 80 bucks is not an issue. What I'd to do is figure a way to salvage the old one which is in great condition except for missing the little button that went over the side when it popped out of the head. There does not seem to be a way secure the head to the stick that retains the ease of changing out the mop for brushes. Any ideas? Here are pix of what is broken?

It's been a while, but I remember purchasing the little button/spring, by itself, for like a buck or two. Maybe I got it from Mcmaster Carr? I'll try to remember, but I know they can be found. They just slide in. Pull the old spring clip thingy out (look inside the mop head tube) and it will make more sense.

Yep. I did see that it can be pulled out. Did not know a repair was possible. I wonder where the parts come from. Would be nice to have a spare.

Just remembered... I didn't buy them. I lost one, or it broke somehow (I think it was the Swobbit brand brush). Called the company and they sent me a couple spring clips. Looks like you did better by getting a whole new head!

But the easiest thing might be to just call Shurhold and buy a few.

Thanks for the idea!
