** New Sea Ray Owner - 210 Cuddy Cabin in Roswell, Georgia **

Hello all,

I grew up in Miami Beach FL and have been around boats my whole life. For a while I use to race Hobie Cats, and have done a lot of fishing. I impulsively, bought a Sea Ray.. No regrets .. This is my first power boat, I fell in love with her at first sight. I know this sounds crazy.. but you just know. I've been doing a lot of research on the web and found this site and have pulled out a great deal of info. I hope that one day I'll be able to contribute to others that are on the same quest!!

Welcome aboard! This website and talk you through and explain anything that you have a question about when it comes to Sea Ray. These people are the best. Bought my 260DA in May and have just been amazed at what I have learned through this site.

Thanx for posting the pics. I just love the lines of these old boats. They instill a feeling of safety and confidence at sea for some reason. IMHO these boats are the classiest looking of all the generations of Sea Rays. I wish we could find some in good shape out here. I think it would be cool to strip it down to the bare hull and deck and then build the interior back up with modern materials. colors, and ideas. I remember them as being fairly heavy and slow but they had the smoothest ride of anything available at the time.

Thanks Chris!! you truly are a Sea Ray man!! I have removed most of the interior and pulling up the carpet. The floors are solid I want to make sure they are sealed properly. Also the center section that covers the fuel tank carpet doesn't match. I'm not so much concerned with speed as I am ride, and comfort. I'm going to pull the switch panel from the dash and rewire it, and replace the ignition switch. I'll have to post a pic as the previous owner had an electrical issue and added a main wire from the battery to the ignition switch and then branched (Spliced) to the accessories. I removed it after finding a screw went into the harness .. fixed and soldered the connections and viola .. newly added wires removed :) I think while I'm at work, I'm getting separation anxiety..lol ..

Believe it or not there are a few here in GA .. this one sat in a barn for 8 years..

Welcome to CSR from SE Ga, I was up in your area a few months back. This is the place for SeaRay.

Were you running that without water? I heard someone in the video say "we don't want to overheat it".

If you ran it without water, you probably burned up (what's left of) the impeller. After sitting 6 years, it probably needs changed anyway.
