New Sea Ray Video for 190 Sport Lovers!

Nice. I liked all of it except being able to pull it with a wrangler out of a standard sized garage... that just makes me envious and a little concerned that I went too big. :p

Aaaah well... at least I have a Land Rover and not a Jeep . hA!

oh and if you put the [VIDEO] tag around the youtube link, it will embed. The editor has a little green movie film icon you can click too.

Hmm, I might need to do some measuring as I did not think that it would be able to go into a single door garage...

It should...get that boat inside, Don!

My 185 (on the single axle trailer, which is a little narrower than the dual axle on my 190) would have fit on the single garage where I live (pre-cabin), except for the dang EARTHQUAKE BRACES at the bottom of the door frame.

Boat ownership in San Francisco!

LOL

I have a big garage, it is just it has two single doors rather than one large door.
I may have to check that out, though I did make a nice place out back with cross ties and pea gravel where I park it though...

I really wish my garage was taller and deeper. Bravo 3 props to hitch on the trailer is 28' long and the garage is a bit too low for the windshield anyway. Next house will need a special boat garage. :p

That is a huge advantage to the smaller sport boats IMO. I know I will enjoy it on the water, but for all the other times im dealing with storage and moving it around, I will be thinking of 190's.

I've watched the new sea ray videos several times. I really like the style of my 05, but the new ones are really clean and I think they will also age well as far as the style goes. Glenn's new 230 is just sick! Love the black.

wow, im such a searay fan boy now.

Cool video.... for awhile it felt like CSR was turning into the Big Boat Boys Club (not that there's anything wrong with that) but it's good to see the "little guys" getting more involved.... I mean that in a good way because I am now back to being a little guy.

For the garage... I agree. I was boat-less when we built our home 10+ years ago and hadn't considered garage height. Shortly after we bought a boat and it was too tall for the garage.... then we bought a 240SD and it was too tall and too long. I kick myself every time I go out to the stupid garage.... I have 3 stalls and can barely fit a full size SUV in there. I was not thinking clearly at the time we were building.

I am with you there, for a bit there I started to feel like I was a little out of place!
This is my second boat, my first was a used 1990 180 BR we bought couple of years ago.
This Sport 190 is my first ever, brand new boat - have been wanting one for more years than I care to think about.
I tell you, it may be the baby Sea Ray, but for me this boat is huge! :)

I am just anxiously counting down the weeks ( not many more thankfully), to where we can take her out for her first voyage.

When I was researching the 190 shortly after it was launched, this video was key in my decision to order one (not having a dealer in NorCal who had one in inventory). No joke, must have watched it 300 times! Really appreciated how it takes you through the whole boat!

Nice video, gives me something to watch while I wait - oh so patiently - for my season to begin!

Found out from my wife last night, one of my daughters wanting us to babysit their two very young ones for mothers day weekend while they go on a trip - augh, how rude!
Do they not understand I have a new boat here??

Glenn, in celebration of the counting down of the weeks now, I ordered a bottle of the Hot Sauce today based on your recommendation, looking forward to giving it a try!
Have you used their vinyl cleaner? I ordered a bottle of it as well.

I still have not got my boat registration in the mail yet, the dealer said he checked on it for me and they told him they are running behind and I should have soon. Been about 6 weeks already...

Seems like with boating and marinas/boat shops, they always run behind.

I make an appointment at a place, drop off the boat, and it sits for a week or two before they do anything. Im on my second place now, hoping they will be more organized than the last place.

last place had it for two weeks, they were supposed to just bottom wash/polish/wax and such but instead they re-winterized it, confused it with someone elses boat. Every time I called they had to ask my name and phone, wrote things down on scrap paper, no work orders or organization at all. Then I tried to just have them install my dual battery charger, they opened it voiding the warranty, rewired it incorrectly, never tested it (Because it was now broken)... I had to rewire it myself. They tried to use one sensor for both banks and cut the other off... its resistive... morons.

Im getting pissy waiting for the season.

Yikes, sound like some bad experiences there, sorry to hear that!
I have had good luck so far with my dealer, hope it stays that way. The registration delay as I understand is from the agency ( Tennessee Wildlife) that issues it, so guess the blame for this one has to go to our good ole government. Course it is always possible I guess there was a delay in the dealer getting the paperwork submitted to them as well.

Ok so I pulled the boat up into the driveway today, just to check some things out and do some measuring/planning for the Magma grill I am going to get.
I confirmed this boat will definitely not go through the door into my garage - my garage doors openings are exactly 96", and the distance to the outside of the wheels is like 99-100"...

Perhaps some single garage doors are a little wider and that is why it can be gotten in them, I don't know...

The 190 Sport display at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, which appears to be a huge show that had a kick-a** Sea Ray display. Look how much floor space for the 190! And they had another one along side the 205! I like the new graphics package, but will admit to being partial to the original graphics package which I think works very well with the back end design of this boat. Looks like Europe is keeping it, with yellow as the new color instead of green?
