New Sea Ray owner in Austin Texas

Just bought a new 280 Sundancer through Sail and Ski here in Austin, Texas. Dealer did a great job helping me come to a decision on which model, new or pre-owned, etc. Boat is in the water on Lake Travis. My wife and I are coming over from 30 years of sailing. Sold the sailboat and came over to the power side! We have a passion for being on the water in whatever boat we have.

This is a great website and i look forward to learning about our new venture with the Sea Ray!

Thanks for the welcome! We look forward to enjoying our new boat...the feedback we received on this site when trying to decide between the single and the twin was about 50/50, but based on planned usage on Lake Travis our local Sea Ray dealer highly encouraged us to go with the single engine.

Welcome to the board, power boating & the ever rising Lake Travis.

Sail & Ski is as good a dealer as you'll find. They went beyond reason to insure we were happy with our purchase in '05 & we continue to be pleased with their interest & service.

They're christening 3 big SRs this weekend at Rough Hollows, Sat 4-7, with lots of refreshments. Try & make it, will be lots of fellow SR owners there.

I assume you're going to slip your boat....where? There's a couple of slips available at LT Marina if you haven't chosen yet. We're in M3, the dock with U-Float-M store at the end.

Give us a shout when you see us....we have twin palms & flamingos on the stern......Phil & Judy
