Just got into my first Sea Ray and I love it. My wife and I got back into boating last year with a 22 Crownline, just wanted to make sure I would actually make time to use the boat and we did. Looking to up size I found an amazing deal I could not pass up, a 2000 290 Amberjack clean through and through. I grew up on the water and used to love sleeping on my fathers boat and now I get to experience that again!!!

Congrats and welcome - I just took delivery of my first SR in many years - based in Patchogue River - sure I will see you around!

stamaj...........Welcome back to the boating lifestyle..........you made a great choice with a Sea Ray. I too moved up from a 22' Crownline ( 225 CCR )....10 years ago to my first Sea Ray which was a 280DA.........and we never stopped growing.

Have a great season..........we'll see you out there !!!

Thanks....used to live in MD. I was stationed at AAFB for 8 years..... still have friends in the area

sounds great, where do you hang? We usually go to Watch Hill, Davis, OB, Atlantique, Democrats & Sore Thumb. I also have a few connections at Davis and OB......

what a coincidence.... I loved that boat, just needed bigger. What beaches do you guys go to?

Hey Stamaj,
Welcome to CSR and congrats on the new boat. I have a similar history growing up in Oakdale by Dowling College......Good times! I usually boat @ Watch Hill or Davis Park. I dock @ Corey Beach in Blue Point!! I'll be in the water next week. I'm sure I'll see you around. Todd

Cool, I dock in Bluepoint also, off Namkee. Look forward to a great summer

Welcome to CSR. We docked in Blue Point up until this season. We just moved to a new marina on the Patchogue River. I'm sure a bunch of us from CSR will be eventually meet over the summer. We do Watch Hill pretty frequently but spend time in Westhampton Beach, Montauk, Block and Greenport. C'mon summer!!!!!

Congrats on the new boat. The AJ's are a great boat! I too remember the years on my Dad's boat and always could sleep soundly on it. You can get a ton of information on this forum.
