I bought a 1988 Sea Ray S24 in spring 2010. Enjoyed it all summer. Doing all the work myself which has been a learning experience. Boat runs great. Looks pretty darn good for an 88. I am going to head into some restoration work as soon as the snow melts. Would love to talk to some people about some advice and Ideas on things I can teach myself to do.
Planing on:
upgrading the stereo system
fixing 2 tares in my seats
refinishing the dash
and the side panels that are covered in vinyl, the wood underneath is all rotted towered the rear where you step in and out of the boat. That has to be replaced and I have no clue how to do that.
I would appreciate talking to anyone who can help me with this and people who own or may have owned the same boat.
