Very nice stuff and even sharper looking boat. I hear it doesn't do to well in our heat in FL otherwise I'd have it
 
My Seadek is approaching 5 years and we have no complaints.

Seadek featured our installation under SeaRay 450da and the photos were under the installation dealers name, Jet Boat Pilot if you want to see them.

Suggest you ask whomever told you that corners melt or something.

I suspect that was an installation Bubba did on his own with material from some online source. The installer here is a professional who had several hundred thousand $ invested in computer aided equipment to fit and cut the SeaDek. He also thoroughly cleans the deck with a solvent before trying to apply the Seadek to the deck.

All I know is we have been very happy with out installation and it looks as good today as the day it was installed:
