New Member, New Owner 1977 SDB 240 Sedan Bridge

I just aquired a 1977 SDB-240 Sedan Flybridge in sound, but very neglected shape. The power plant is a no prob for me as the prior project I was working on(a 1970 IMP AZTEC 20' open runabout) ended in an unobtainable title, I just finished building an 76 OMC 235 351 windsor, an a 1985 omc 800 outdrive, so both needed a new home, witch arrived a side product of a trade, my old fuel guzzlin f-350 crew dually(EX LA county water disrict truck! 3MPG ???) for a 1975 Glasspar 17.7 open bow runabout in nice shape, on a nice roller trailer, and this sea ray. Currently the boat is sitting in a cradle on a large flatbed trailer, but have already made arrangements to transfer to trailer via Sling.
Trailer is a Caulkins 24 roller rocker/cradle that was under my prior boat,(rated at 7500, lbs it sould take the 4700 dry weight with no trouble, just adjustments) fully adjusted out it will take the ray. The Hull appears to be sound, and in fair condition, still a luster under the dirt, no sunrot, on first inspections, all the woodwork need refinishiing, but thats a nice way to pass a winter.(Has several teak and mahogany floral inlays that I look forward to redoing) what little upholstery there is, is in fair shape, recovering/drycleaning will take care of. I have all the skillls this boat asks for, All of the EXPENSIVE parts, and the time as well. The original plan was to sell the ray, and keep the glasspar, but after having done a little research, and climbing all over the boat, that plan has changed, I wil keep both, and take my time and be able to make a nice weekender out of her! Any advice is welcome, As I am new to Sea Ray.
